In glancing thru the gallery of my favorite challenge for the first time in literally.....weeks.....I struggled to keep my eyes open. Hmmmmm....1:18 am and I just got home a bit ago from baby sitting for two of my favorite little girls in the whole world, Layla and Brookie....Jenna's munchkins. I WANT TO DO MY FAVORITE CHALLENGE BUT MY EYES WILL NOT COOPERATE.....and tomorrow, plans, plans, plans. So what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a CAKE SITE.....and this cake drew my attention:
Mostly because I think they made that cake because THEY were inspired by this card which I already made a while ago, but never uploaded to SCS. I truly think they were. So forgive me everyone because I wanted to play this week, but if I stay up ALL night, I won't be any good for babysitting tomorrow night for one of my other favorite little girls in the whole wide world, Livvy Lou. So, for JUST THIS ONCE I am sorta cheating, and using a card that inspired this bakery to make the cake, instead of the other way around. So can you all forgive me this week, for having my cake, and eating it to? Can you tell I am crazy from sleepiness??? BWAHAHAHAHAAAA.....hope you forgive me and still love me Stephanie!!

The embossing in the icing looks so real that I am getting cravings for cupcakes. I really like how you corrugated the printed paper for the cupcake paper. It gives it an authentic cupcake look.

Oh that is just scrumptious. Love this beautifully crafted cupcake with it's pretty paper liner and swirled frosting. The distressed edges just add to the sweetness of the card. Awesome.

Love your yummy, frosted delight of a cupcake, Karen. The vintage ditsy print makes a wonderful cupcake paper. The crinkled ribbon is the perfect addition.
