This card's inspiration was from the wooden cross ornament I picked up at Micheal's for about 80 cents a few weeks back. They had a selection of different styles and I got two of these that I thought would be fun to create with.
I distress inked the wood and applied pearls around the outside of the cross and tied a sheer ribbon bow in the center and mounted it on this card. Here are the deets:
Martha Stewart - Punch Around the Page Iron Fence, Frond and Branch Punch
Spellbinders - Oval Beaded Nesties, Large Oval Nesties, Fancy Tags 2, Parisian Motif Shapabilities
Cuttlebug Embossing Folders, Rangers Tea Dye Distress Ink, Pearls, Stardust Stickles
The roses were made with a Marvy punch and distress inked as well. Still have to make my tutorial. Yikes...where does the time go. I am going to craft day at a local church tomorrow with about 100 women. They set up stations and you go from one to the other making crafts. It is so much fun.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great creative weekend!

Holy cow, Bearzi! 1 1/2 hours to achieve this??? If I didn't know that you are a good Christian woman, I'd ask what y'all were taking...Seriously, this is one inspired masterpiece. When I first opened the thumbnail, I thought of a gorgeously embellished Greek or Russian Orthodox Church...or Fabege eggs. The detail and the symmetry and the colors and the texture and those glorious punches....whew! You are one amazing artist, GF! Thanks for sharing your God-given talent with us.

Bearzi - this is STUNNING. I am in awe just looking at it. I love the yellows and soft greens, all the punched detailing, the pearls, ribbon and sponging - and those amazing roses are made using a punch??? Oh wow - truly a magnificent work of art.
