This is for today's sketch challenge and for Decembers Bible Verse Challenge. If anyone is interested in joining us for this challenge in 2011, here's the link - this was my first year and I really enjoyed it!
The verse is computer generated. The dp is attached to a black card base for a bit of definition and the edges are sponged with Ranger Distress ink. The image is colored with copics and popped up on a black panel which is also popped up, and I added brads for flower centers. I'm usually not afraid of some intricate cutting but today I simply had to cut out a rectangle to go out of the box! I didn't even know if I'd get a card done today - after the very unusual freezing weather during the past month, the big thaw burst so many water pipes in Northern Ireland that we now have a water shortage - we were informed today that it may be cut off or rationed so we had to run around looking for every container we could find and fill them up just in case! So far so good for us, but there are some who aren't so fortunate and have been without water for literally days.
