What a perfect card for today! Boy is it snowing outside! I thought I would never make it home from work. ;-)
TodayÂ’s Free for All challenge was to do a card inspired by the Nutcracker Suite. That brought back a flood of memories. My aunt took me to the Nutcracker as a special treat when I was about 10. I was entranced, and my favorite part was, without a doubt, the Waltz of the Snowflakes. I loved the music and I remember thinking how magical it was that they had snow falling on the stage. So this card is in honor of the Waltz of the Snowflakes.
I CASEd this heavily from this beauty by hobbydujour . I just changed the color, used a different ribbon, made my own “designer paper” and used a different stamp set (but still a snowflake image.) To make the "dp" I stamped the largest snowflake in the set repeatedly using white craft ink on sage paper.
Sallie's (hobbydujour) card had actually caught my eye back when she was featured stamper, I just loved it! So thanks for the inspiration Sallie!

What a beautiful card....and you certainly have improved on mine! : ) It was so sweet of you to give me this credit, but yours has a beauty of refinement that mine is lacking! Love your card...I'll have to CASE it! : ) Hugs, Sallie
