This is for today's Free for All challenge, to be inspired by the Nutcracker Suite. I took my inspiration from the part of the Nutcracker story in which Clara and the Nutcracker prince drive off through the snow in the magical sleigh.
I had lots of fun adding details to this winter wonderland card: stitching (zig-zag around the outer border and freehand waves on the vertical olive panel), Fun Flock snow, Glitter Writer dot snowflakes, rhinestones, buttons, and baker's twine! I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils, odorless mineral spirits, and paper blending stumps. The horse-drawn sleigh image comes from the MFP set, Bells on Bobtail. Card size: 5" x 7"
Thanks for looking!

You pulled out all the stops on this one Emzi. I love every darn detail of it and I can see the attention to the details so clearly. I feel like I could walk right into the card with the houses b/hind. What a fabulous holiday card and I know you will send it to me cuz of the horse and my cowboy fettish!!! LOL!! Beautiful work!
