I thought of the little houses I've been having so much fun with, when I saw the house salt and pepper shaker set, so I decided to post one of the sets. The houses are wooden blocks, that my DH and I cut, sand and then I decorate with fun papers and accessories. This set was done with Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses DP's. The blocks range from 2 1/2 inches to 3 1/2 inches tall and are 1 1/2 inches or 2 inches wide. We have several diff. styles of blocks and I'm selling them at a show I've got coming up. I'm also going to sell undecorated blocks in sets of 3. I have fun deciding on designs and think they'll make cute gifts. Here's my inspiration. http://www.plaidponyvintage.com/hous.../723house

OMG Sue....These are absolutely adorable and so creative. You have really outdone yourself on this fabulous project! What a great way to use up scraps and lots of embellishments too. You are just so creative and clever. Thank you, thank you for sharing. Wow......again!!!!!
Sue, this is just so sweet. I want to make a Christmas village and this totally makes sense. My children (all grown) would lie in front of my parent's Christmas tree for hours, just looking at the little village and I want that for my grandchildren. Thanks for showing me the possibilities.
