I really liked the Highlander Plaids on this page as well and I started out to use the plaid from the Jovial DP to go with these little guys but it just didn't go well with them after I finished paiting them. I decided to go with the red and cream paper instead and paper pieced the little stockings to match. The puppies were painted with Antique Linen and Latte and I kept trying to shade them and ended up painting and washing them too much. I still think they are cute and I love the little stocking hanging from their mouths. If I was retired and could be home to train I would love to have two little pupplies for Christmas. I doubt my cats would be too thrilled but I sure miss having a dog around for their unconditional love. I have fond memories of my little girl poodle, Bailey who lived for 14 wonderful years and was always a gift to me.
