Happy Monday everyone! (although it's already Tuesday here from where I am). Just want to share with you my take for CAS88, inspiration by a word : CRINKLE.
Okay so I was thinking where to get these crinkled leaves and I decided to cut 2 different sizes of leaves from my Flower Creations die set. After cutting them out, I realized, there were no ribbed areas to make it look more like a "leaf". I then embossed it using my Fiskars "Leaves" texture plates and just placed it in proportion to the leaves on the embossing plate. I then inked up the edges with the same ink that I used to stamp my bible verse to give it an aged look.
The shadow behind the verse was made using the Mega Curved Nesties, I just held it in place using my left hand while the other hand was doing the sponging. Afterwards, I stamped the verse directly onto the card.
Thanks for looking and have a blessed day!
