Yesterday I was able to stamp all day with Tosha! (Stamps4funinCA), and had a complete blast! It was like entering CHA, being first in every line, and playing with the best stamp toys evah! It was good to stretch and try new things, and also learn new techniques with the supplies I already have!
The Twisted Sister challenge for this week was to make a Christmas card in non-traditional colors. Tosha had this sketch ready for Nat and I, and we went to town! Here are a few things I learned at the University of Tosh:
1) Always punch border, before folding card...(who knew?)
2) Add score lines above border punch (hey, I have a ScorPal, brand new, with dust....)
3) Sponge inside nesties for depth and interest
4) Stop to enjoy fresh baked scones with lemon curd and have a gooood cup of coffee.
I'd tell you more, but really, I am still taking it all in! Nat and had a wonderful time catching up with Tosha. And, really, I think she tried to kill us with food. Seriously! The day was topped off to perfection, attending a play Tosha's DD was in, and it was a blast! Whew....great, fulfilling day! Thanks Tosh, can't wait til my next class! LYMI
