I tweaked it again......but come on, I'm doin the work.....I just needed that one square piece to be a circle.......I stayed up stalking the challenge all night and when it finally came up my lips froze....it looked so complicated.....and I had been working on coloring different images all night to see what would fit in the end.....but I struggled with where to put the main attraction here until I decided to turn that top piece into a circle. So it is what it is and it was fun to make in the end.....I NEED these sketch challenges cuz they really get me outside the box......I have my own set of go to sketches in my head and these are never there!! Anyway, this is a very cute sketch when you get it put together, it only looks scarey!! What else is scarey is I walked over to my ribbon bins, which contain some 2000 different patterns of ribbon and thought NO, it can't be....but yes, what other ribbon would look as good as this one???? I am FIXATED on these darn stripes!! I need to place a major order cuz I am out of black, my fav......so....... BOO!! Happy HAlloween....I HAD to say that since I had no room for my sentiment!! Happy Wednesday everyone!!

Oh Karen, you are so cute. I love your long explanation about the circle on your card. And that striped ribbon is awesome! As is the adorable girl on the pumpkin! That is the next set I am buying--I love every card anyone makes with it. This whole card is just exceptional.

Karen... not sure of you know this about me yet or not, but I am pretty obsessed with Halloween! There is a certain feeling I get in the fall (most likely it's because I'm a fall baby). I just love your card. The colors, the way you colored that image... it's just so darn adorable! I really need to start thinking about WHAT I'm going to dress Layla and Brooklyn up as this year!

You did a fab job with the sketch, Karen. I had the same reaction you did when I saw it--especially because I had a stamp set in mind and wondered how I'd make it work. Your card is a beauty. Love your image and wonderful coloring. Beautiful bow, too. You are tempting me to buy some stripes--every time I see one of your cards. But that would be copying, and I would never do that . . .
