This is my card for the TPT challenge this week. What's with Tuesdays, I have a head-cold again and all I want to do is go to bed. To my total amazement DH liked this, and has earmarked it to send to a friend going through a hard time, so I don't think this particular card is going to make it to Destination Station CO. No story, except that when I read all about Margaret this morning, I noticed that her daughter studied in the Sorbonne, which is also where my mother studied. So I put Margaret in her green dress into a Paris setting...
A2 black base.
See-Ds' image stamped onto white card with Versafine Black. I stamped the fan onto another scrap of card. Masked the image and stamped En Francais (StazOn Stone Grey), Medallion (silver ink, clear EP) and the Eiffel Tower (copper ink, clear EP). Sponged the background with Antique Linen, Scattered Straw, Milled Lavender and Pine Needles. Coloured image and fan with coloured pencils and Gamsol. Tore the edges and sponged them again with green, added the fan layered up on foam. For the look of the lacquered wood on the fan I used a black Sakura glaze pen.
I guess with all those stamps this also gains entry into the F4A challenge from last Friday, three different companies there .

Sorry to hear you're under the weather but by the looks of it your creativity has not been hindered. This is beautiful. I love how you brought all those elements together. I can see how proud you've made your DH that he wants to share this with someone special. Hope you feel better soon!

Oh my you could do this with a headcold Sabrina. WOW, I am just amazed at your talent GF. I do hope you get to feeling better real soon. Love the sponging with Tim's inks. Don't you just love them all. Beautiful embellishment and Paris...next year for me! TFS
Thank you also for the Birthday wishes. I spent the day in a frenzy, thinking and sharing stories with Diane about what goes on SCS, our ramblings about the HM and PB mice. The teapot party, the challenges, and she listens and enjoys getting to "know" what I have learned about this wonderful place. hugs and love peggyxo
