The Buffalo Stampers submission for the PWCO's Ultimate Summer Challenge #4, technique. Sample created by Tracy Harp (me ;))
We were to make our own background paper. I used two different shades of blue Alcohol inks on glossy paper to create the look of a cloudy sky. The paper doesn't show much on the front but I added a second piece on the back of the box (see corner inset photo).
The long shape of the image fit nicely on the front of this gable box I had in my stash. The image is watercolored with dye inks. Glossy accents cover the puddle. I chose to only use part of the matching sentiment, adhering it over a foam letter "U".

AAAACCKKK!! Or maybe I should say QUAAAACK!!! This is the second time I've seen this absolutely darling image today and I've loved it both times!! Your sky technique is AWESOME, Tracy--very vibrant for this little duckling scene. Love the corner and the fun, fun way you've done your sentiment. So, what's going in the box?!!!
