Whoohoo!!! Da Mudder asked me to make a sample card for her Teapot Tuesday Challenge...I am doubly excited cause she is featuring a teapot from here in Texas!!! A while back we were driving to Houston and drove by a huge water tank thingy that someone had made into a giant teapot. Don't ya know I yelled for my DH to STOP THE CAR...he thought I was having some kind of an attack!!! Anyway, I got the pictures and sent them to Cindy...I just knew she would have the same attack I had...LOL!!! Anyway....here is the link to the Teapot Tueday Challenge...be sure to check out the story and the destination for this weeks cards!!!
My card features the girls from Petticoat Junction...Penelope, Blossom, and Bea....The Penny Black image was stamped with Versafine Onyx Black, embossed with clear ep, and watercolored with Tombow markers. The little flowers on the hats were popped up and sewing and piercing was done around the edges. Lace, felt flowers, button, and a scalloped border finish it off.
Thanks for looking and be sure to gather up all your petticoats, bloomers, and tea and come to the party!!!!

Oh Joan, this is simply the sweetest. Those girls are perfect for this challenge - I can just hear them giggling around the teapot! What a great image and what a great find in that inspiration for today's challenge. Thanks for sharing!

Joan, these are just the cutest little girls. I don't think I have ever seen them before. Love how you have colored them. Beautifully done!!
