This week's CAS challenge on SCS is a perky sketch. I like the embellishment possibilities and the versatility of the large image panel. I thought the sketch would show off this great silhouette image of an asian woman. I did a little research in Asian culture to help me with my color scheme and came up with the following: Blue is for DREAM, RED is for Happy, and Yellow for is Prosperous. I also learned that the chinese put 3 coins together and tie them with a red string to bring success to the recipient who carries them. Kewl history lesson!
The image is stamped in versamark and then in Poppy Parade and clear embossed. The embellishment is a large gold coin paired with gold organza from Papermart. The red and white cord is from I Heart Papers.
Thanx for letting me share with you!

Thanks for all the background information. I love symbolism in card making, whether cultural or personal.
