Congrats, LeAnne! What a wonderful gallery! I didn't have to go very far to pick Proverbs 3. I kept the Father's Day theme and general layout, but flipped it, changed the colors and used an embossed strip instead of ribbon.
This came together really fast because I raided my stash of backgrounds and leftover pieces. All I had to do was put it together, emboss the greeting and make a few faux brads.
The number section was a piece leftover from TLC160 and the white strip is from a piece I ran thru my Sizzix w/ a piece of plastic canvas to emboss the grid pattern. I used a border frills strip on the narrow teal band. The numbers have a little shine to them because I 'polished' it w/ a piece of wax paper. The finished card is 5.5 x 4.25 (A2).
Thanks so much for looking! My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

I love the colors and the embossing - wish I hadn't made my dad a card already - he used to tell us how much rougher it was when he was a kid, saying he had to walk to school three miles uphill both ways. What a fun card, bright card - love it!

Julie ~ great card. Love all you have going on. The background is very colorful. It really caught my eye. Also love that white embossed paper on the right side too.

Wow - I don't know how this came together quick with all the things you did on it. It is awesome. That sentiment is perfect - my parents both have stories about getting to school like that so they would really get a kick out of it! Super job as usual!
