I think we might, possibly, maybe be approaching summer. Goodness it has sure taken a long time this year. My very favorite thing about summer is being able to take my book out to the deck and sit in my glorious adirondack chair to read...or fall asleep!
I really only hinted at color for this image. Being a "sketchy" type image, I didn't want lots of color detail. I have also been wanting to try the strips of colored paper that so many people have been trying on their cards.

I've seen that cool idea of just using strips of dp as part of sketch - but I've not go around to trying it yet!! So - I envy you - and I want to make a card like this!! But you've done it first!!!! LOL!

Lovely card, makes me want to just sit there and watch the waves and the birds as well! A very versital card design, great for CAS or a more layered approach if wanted.
