StampinB challenge #58-To celebrate International No Diet Day being in the month of May, we are to make a card with fruit or beverage. I chose this digital image of yummy strawberries and printed twice on watercolor paper, colored and popped the berries. Shaded my white blooms to make them pop out as they are colored in white.
Printed on watercolor paper and cut with Labels Three die and layered on top of a Shapeabilities Pendants Contemporary Hearts. Under that is the Borderabilities Fresh Fruit Border I ordered from Markie's Finest Papers. I made the background doing Letterpress with Impressabilities technique. That was fun! Added ribbon and brads and I'm finished.
Hope you'll join us in this week's challenge, using the keyword StampinB.

Benzi this is splendid!!! I just made a Strawberry card I am dying to show off....but can't until the 21st!!! Strawberries seem to be the image for the month of May. I have seen others using that image on their cards as well....but they have not done as good a job as you have with the strawberries. Red is a hard color to do on an image. Just adore your background and the sweet bow.

This is all so detailed and just totally wonderful! I believe you would win the punch tally award this week (if we had one of those awards) and probably lost lots of weight doing this one! I love how the strawberries stand out! Great job Benzi - it is a Benzi-riffic creation for sure.

This is lovely, lovely, lovely, Benzi!! I just LOVE strawberries and your card makes me so hungry, LOL! This was a really fun StampinB challenge that you came up with. I think I have to make another food card, but this one may have to be a little more naughty (read "fattening") than my first more-diet-friendly peaches one. I just love the colors you used and the gorgeous layout. And that wonderfully detailed background you made is to die for!! Great work and super watercoloring, my friend!!

Ah Benzi - love this. I love the Impressibilities bg - I only have the one (same one you used) and I love the sublte effect of embossing it gives. Love your bling and your purdy red bow. I'm so far behind I think I'm winning but hope to catch up this week!
