I did it - I didn't use a photo on my card this week!
No matter which way I rotated this sketch, it didn't look as if I could use it landscape orientation on a swing card, so instead I settled for using Snoopy, already coloured and matted and sitting on my desk, to get on with my May CCC10 cards.
I struggled a lot with this sketch, and maybe will come back after I've had some time out reading. I didn't want too many layers, so for the base panel, I cut a piece of paper the same size as my card base (A2), cut out a window and used that as a mask. I stamped Lovely as a Tree several times in Versafine Olympia Green, and then brushed with green and blue chalk and sprayed with fixative before removing the mask.
I stamped a See-Ds sentiment on the green strip, and added a red snap, sponged the edges with dark blue.
Having stamped my base layer I didn't want to cover it all up, so I embossed a piece of vellum with the Snowflakes ef and edged with gold.
Snoopy looks as if he'd been stamped and embossed with black ep and coloured with H2Os, then layered up on shiny gold card and red Bazzill. He's left over from last year, and I found him when tidying at the weekend.
