This is for the Friday Free for All Challenge to make a flower card for tomorrow's upcoming May Day. This is the second time this week that I have been able to make a quick card before getting ready for work. Woo Hoo!! I used a newly released silhouette image from the Rubbernecker Floral Collection. I applied color to the stamp with olive and regal rose markers, misted and stamped on the punched parchment paper that I had laying in my srap box. I used a brush, water and rose red reinker to add depth to each flower. I sponged old paper distress ink on plain vanilla cardstock to make it match better with the parchment paper. I love dark pink and olive together and thought olive would be the perfect color to layer with as well as for the ribbon color. My multi loop bow seemed the perfect finish for this old fashioned looking card. If you would like more information regarding making a multi loop bow check out the tutorial video on my blog. http://kittiekraft.typepad.com/kitti...tutorials.html

Kittie, Beautiful card, colors, layout and border. I just received my stamps from Rubbernecker and that was one of them. Have used it a couple of times but nothing quite that stunning. Thanks for sharing your many talents.

WOWZA!! Kittie this is too beautiful for words!! I can't believe you made this before work, I am such a drone in the morning I can barely make my toast and coffee let alone make a card, I'm impressed!! Your flowers are so very pretty, I love the technique you used for them, I am going to have to give that a try!! Wonderfully done, tfs!!!
