For today's color challenge CC266, to use Blush Blossom, Cameo Coral, and Ruby Red with either white or ivory as a neutral. This week's dessert option: creamy caramel or close to cocoa.
Didn't think I could play along today because I only have these colors as Stampin' Pastels. But a closer look at my new Basic Grey Nook & Pantry pad revealed some DP with Cameo Coral and Ruby Red in it. So with some approximations for the creamy caramel and close to cocoa, I was in business!!
The three Circle Circus images were colored with my Stampin' Pastels and a blender pen (which is why the colors look so uneven in places. That's the only thing that I'm not very pleased about in this card). I punched out all three circles and heat-sealed with clear EP. I used different thicknesses of dimensionals to pop up the circles so they are all at different heights.
I added some score lines along the right side of the card base (sorry, these don't really show up in the photo) and stitched down the DP with my sewing machine. I used a blush blossom pastel to color the "For You" tab.
I was going to send this note along with a meal to my friend who just had her second wrist surgery, but I couldn't finish it in time to deliver with the meal this morning! I'll put it in my stash instead.
Thanks for looking!
Emily
