Here is a card for a few challenges! I just had to come and celebrate our QFTD Linda (snail) today! She has sure talent in making CAS cards and all in all beautiful work! She always encourages alot of us with her kind words. So, I used her card for this week's SC, because of the cool sketch yes. And the soft pastel papers, she used, yes! But, it's her little mice that did it for me, they inspired me to use my new little Dreampuff stamp,
which was part of a gift from SimonSaysStamp.(I have to say a huge shout out to the girls there for adding the little pink rhinestones to my order also. Of couse I used only one, but I promise, I am not hoarding them now. LOL)
Also, for today's IC challenge from Stephanie, was not a website. Very unusual and new and yes, also fun! We were to make a card inspired by what is home to us. So for me, it's "down home Nova Scotia", where my dad was born and raised. We use to make the trip every summer, and stay for a whole month. We stayed in the little house my father was raised in, and mostly I remember is stories and songs. But one stood out and it was "them old cottonf fields back home" Dad sang a bit out of tune, but his heart and soul made it sound so good to me! Hence this little Monica mice sleeping neatly on her cottonball, just like I use to sleep snugly in my grandparent's bedroom, which my mom and dad used when "down home".
Thank for looking and reading. Enjoy your saturday! Thank you Stephanie for the trip down memory lane...or should I say down the cotton fields back home!

Cute, cute, cute again! There are millions of cotton fields around here - this image would be perfect for where I live! I love whatever you used on the cotton - looks great.

Peggy, this is adorable and what a great use of that complimentary bling! How nice of Simon Says to feature your card on their blog ... how could they not, it's totally cute! And I love how you incorporated the cotton.
