For today's Technique Lover's Challenge (TLC262), "Faux What?", the challenge was to design your own faux "nesties" shaped image panel (without using nested cutting dies, etc.). We could use any other means of punches or cutting. I haven't been able to squeeze in a TLC challenge for quite a while, but I was really interested in giving this one a try since I don't have any kind of nestabilities or die cutting tools at all. I love the look, though, so I thought it would be a good use of time to try this out and also see what others come up with!!
I created this nested image panel using my new Fiskars Victorian photo corner punch (found on clearance at Michael's--squeal!!). This punch also cuts in a set of interior slots, so all I had to do was slide in my stamped image (on a white rectangle), and it instantly took on the shape of something more exotic.
Thanks for looking!!
Emily

You are really creative and imaginative Emily. You did a super job on this challenge and I LOVE your card. I LOVE peacocks and am getting that image next week. LOVE your cool paper and, of course, your faux nestie framing!! WOW, great job!! TFS!!

beautiful color combo, great job with the challange, love it. And the inside, something that I don't do much of, just makes the card more special. I'll have to start adding to the insides of my cards too.
