This is the view of my end of the family room in the basement from over by the TV...the family can all be down here playing games, watching movies, etc and I can feel like I am part of the group while I am stamping. The other bonus, is that when I am not stamping, I can put away my mess and use the counter for a buffet area and the table for extra dining or board games for when we have company...a lot!
Table and chairs ($150) and cabinets ($100) were Craigslist finds, bookcases from Ikea! Countertop was stocked in the 12' length at Menards for $50.
Pretty good price overall for some great pieces that do double duty!

I love what you have here. I absolutely hate it when a family member works behind a closed door or is isolated from the rest of us. So fun to be together weather it's work or play. If I ever get a new basement...this is what I'll aim for!

Your whole space (including the family area), looks about the size of my whole house! ((((sigh)))). It is beautiful, can't deny that and your did awesome with prices. Very very very jealous. LOL!!!!
