I found an old frame; I sanded it, I primed it, I waited ages for the primer to dry, and then I painted it with Distress Crackle Paint. I know it's meant to crackle - but not like this. So, I'll have to sand it down again, and start from scratch. This is NOT the finished article...
To go inside the frame, I stamped Season of Friendship on some heavy watercolour card, and stamped the leaves with Brilliance Thyme. I stuck on some little almond blossoms - and I see I need one more at the top - after chalking the background. I added a little bird at the base...not sure about this, it may just end up as scrap, but I did try, so TFL.

Sabrina - this is wonderful. I wonder if that technique would work on cardstock? Have you ever tried crackle paint on cardstock?
