I decided to make a card with the scraps left on my desk. This technique often forces me to clean up between cards, and after making 3 cards using the same scraps, I'm forced to clean up! LOL
When I was teaching Kindergarten, I had a WHITE chalkboard. And, since I'm a rebel, I decided to try this technique with a LIGHT base color! I started with a base of YumYum's Blue Eyes for the scene. To create the scene I stamped the trees in Palette New Canvas Hybrid ink. Next, I daubed on chalks for the trees and grass. I sponged in Orangerie and Nude for the sun. I sponged in some more blue/green chalks for the sky. I sprayed the panel with hairspray to set the chalk.
Finished card size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total time to complete: 27 minutes
