For today's TPT challenge we had to go apple picking and I brought along my tubby chef friend. He has such a deep operatic voice that all he has to do is sing and the apples just shake themselves off the tree and onto his plate. Now Annie doesn't have to climb up the tree to get her apples.
Fresh Apple Pie Anyone?
I sponged in the sky and grass. Embossed the tree in thick gold and added red Dew Drops for apples. The chef was embossed in black and water colored in. I used MS glitter on the platter and more Dew Drop apples and cut the leaves by hand. Finally, I topped it off with red Gingham Ribbon.
Thanks for Looking!!

I thought I heard a powerful apple shaking booming noise come up over the tops of the apple trees! Whoo hoo! If that bad apple shows his face, we'll have your Master Chef cook him up and put him in a pie! Problem solved with one wonderful card! I love the embossing and your sponging of the grass and sky rocks!
Love that you are here again....Can I have ice cream with my pie? Pretty please with a apple on top!

What a awesome technique your chubby chef has, singing and the apples just fall off. Now that's a site to see. Your card is gorgeous. Love the gold ep and the dew drop apples. Awesome card. TFS :0)

Well,of course I love the chef. And I like the idea of his bass - or is he a baritone or tenor? - singing bringing those adorable little apples down. Don't they look good, and I am thinking they'd make fantastic cherries too. And I love the spring feel to the card - OK, it can't be spring if there are apples on the tree, but with those soft blues and greens it feels spring.
