Or the art of taking a sketch and a story and simplifying it! Hello everyone, here is my take on the MMSC sketch this week. I am so sorry I didn't make it last week, my oh my, am I tired...ooops, but that is another story!!! This week the gals at mmsc have the coolest sketch (which I'll be working on flipping back up later on) I just saw this as an opportunity to go "zen". LOL Well, with me it is always wacky zen thank you! If you want to try it, the link is here:
We have several theories from our Duchess Nut herself LOL It involves Jerry Lee Lewis. Then we have the green apple one. (we need to be nice to the elderly now, so I won't say anything about that one...LOL. Then there's a contraption from Ireland that Sabrina told us about, but does it have anything to do with the mystery...I don't know. Another one is the magic apple, which for some reason makes me wonder if Joanne hasn't been picking something else in this field... Meanwhile, Bertie and me (that's me, Maxie) are just having a couple of some fine apple martinis, right here in the shade of the blue apple tree I found...talk about your magic...or too much of those drinkies until Bobby calls. By the way, here is the recipe for it, it's in french, but as they say...a picture is worth 42000 words.lol) Hold on now Duchess, go easy on the vodka!!!

Maxie! You are a WILD WOMAN! Drinking Apple Martinis and taking off with some guy! I thought this was an IC card from this weekend! Your story is wonderful and so informative. I didn't even know who this guy is!

Oh, my bad, Maxie. I think I've had one too many apple-tinis. I wrote yer name as Moxie in my post....mebbe it's cuz I see you as a person with a lot of moxie. :-) Anywhoooo, I've edited it to git it right so's no one thinks Bertie is plastered or sumpin'.
And yer havin' lunch with Bobby, eh? Now you know he's a man on a mission, so ya might wanna hold off on some of those apple-tinis for a bit.
I love yer blue tree with green apples....just like a fairy tale and ain't that what we're livin in on Teapot Tuesday?

Hey there Peggy! Sorry I was late in coming here to greet you. I got tied up on a phone call from some Inspector Clouseau type, investigator named Bobby sumthin.....He's in Florida, confused as can be, mistook oranges for apples and got tied up watching some new fandangled orange juice squeezer from Ireland! Guess you will have to eat lunch with the Teapotters after all. Don't ya just hate when that happens!
You're shiny lustrey apples are so healthy looking. Must be all that tender lovin' care! What an adorable card...I especially love the pile of apples off to the right! Your card rocks! And the story's not bad too....I hope you hook up with your investigator! Snugs

Green apples on a blue tree. Peggy, I think maybe the apple that the wicked stepmother in SnowWhite used must have come from this tree. I might just risk one of your martinis, but I will pass on the apples. Love the way your embossed panel goes so well with the tree.

Great tree, love your apples. The Duchess would be proud. That is a great Cuttlebug backdrop too. I'm sure the Duchess will love your story and how you involved her.
