Ok....these colors are sooooo cool together! My kind of colors! Thanks, Betty!
I just had to play with these (new to me) stamps from Art Impressions. This ol'e gal just tickled me in her stance. I can just hear her chatting with her lady golfer friends, gossiping about other ladies, when the subject of AGE creeps in. When Aggie, one of her golfing partners, happens to mention how old she is, Madge just stops her tee-ing and incredulously exclaims, "YOU'RE HOW OLD?!?!?!?!" Madge never thought that Aggie could, or would, be THAT old! I'm not sure that Madge believed Aggie! Heehee!
I ran my base through the CB houndstooth ef. I colored my image with Prismacolored pencils, die cut with nesties and sponged Colorbox dark brown around the edges. I die cut the sentiment with nesties also. I used a silver metallic pen for the golf clubs. I added the ribbon and pearls.
I was so pleased with my card, with the layout, with the coloring, with the ribbon, well....with EVERYTHING! However, my smugness was VERY SHORT LIVED! As I took my card to the office to photograph it............I then realized that I put everything on the WRONG SIDE of the CARD!!!! AAAAAACCKKKKK!!!!!!!
What do you think?

Hi Lesley - we must be 'on the same page' I have done the same thing with a card I just made - how funny!! Perhaps I will put 'Having 'one' of those days' on the inside and keep it that way! LOL! Love this old gal - she is like one of my relatives...so her humour just appeals to me (well your humour actually!) I am loving this Lesley - you are rocking the CC this week! God bless you Lesley - thanks for sharing! {{{hugs}}}
