Measurements: image panel – 3 ¾ x 2 ¾” plus 1/16 and 1/8” borders.
lower panel – 3 ¾ x 5” plus 1/16” border and I made my diagonal cut ¾” from the opposite corners – my panel was cut in the opposite direction from Asela’s/the example cuts because I measured from the wrong corner after I flipped to the backside to make my marks. After making those marks I line each one up on the paper cutter’s edge to get the correct cut.
Image panel:
-I masked off the ground portion using scrap paper which is taped in place and the moon using a post it note which is punched with a ¼” circle. The sky color was added with a brayer starting with the pink first and from the bottom, I start my roll off the panel and rolling back and forth and gradually working higher, reload as needed. The same technique is used for the blues but I start the rolling off the top of the panel; lightest color goes down to cover all the white and slightly over the pink, keep the medium blue higher and navy only comes down about ½” from the top.
-To add some streaky clouds in the sky I used gray liquid ink with an artist brush and water. This is also what I used to shade the snow area and color the fence post.
-The fence image is not as long as it appears on the panel so I added the wire lines going off the scene to each side with a black marker.
-The tree and windmill are on one image which is wider than my panel so I had to do some spot stamping to add the tree which is much further to the left on the actual rubber image and the grass going off the right edge of the panel. To ink up only the tree I masked off the rubber stamp using post it notes and removed them before stamping. When that doesnÂ’t work I just use a black marker to ink up the spot I want.
-The stars were added with a gel pen.
Tools:
Artist brush, post it notes, scrap paper, Stampin Up mat pack, slot punch, Bazzill paper piercer, brayer

Roxie, this is so awesome. I think this sketch is just fabulous for creating a great scene as you have shown us. LOVE the tones you've chosen to create the moonlight glow.

OMG...this is just beautiful.....loving the pink in the sky...what a wonderful, serene scene you have created....awesome
thanks for the early post....our internet/cable has been off and on all night.....might have something to do with our sub-zero temps.....or the wind..... I was actually surprised when the internet worked, as the TV has been out a long time....who knows why???

Beautiful, Roxie! Amazing job with the brayered sky. Loved reading your detailed description, too. At first glance, I missed the gray clouds - what a wonderful touch!
