-After cutting two of the flower (Sizzix retired) I cut in half and used three pieces to create the flower.
-Ink distressing was done on the flower center to get an orange color.
-Paper sculpting was done on the petals with a metal ball stylus; I roll the ball in circles on the petalÂ’s back side as it lies on a folded paper towel.
-The flower center was die cut from a box I got silk flowers in, I then Cuttlebug embossed and cut it in half.
-The leaves are die cut and scored to create the veins and I also did a little paper sculpting between the veins using the same process as the flower petals.
-Martha Stewart border punch and I added the brads to the highest punch out.
-Scoring on the dotted panel was done with the Scor-Pal.
-Ink distressing is done on the tan textured and yellow cardstock.
Tools:
Sizzix - Flower Daisy #3 (retired)
Spellbinder: Shapeabilities – Sunflowers (for the leaves)
Martha Stewart – Zig Zag border punch
Cuttlebug and DÂ’vine Swirls embossing folder
1/16” circle punch
sponge
metal ball stylus and paper towel
Scor-pal
I love these flowers one and two but they are so much work so when I saw this die cut in jaydekay's gallery I was on a hunt to find it. It took me a while but with Judy's help I found one and I actually ended up bidding and won the eBay lot of die cuts that she linked me to view the image. So Judy if you see this thanks for your help and all your inspiration!

Wowzer! What an incredible flower. I like how, even cut down, it remains the center of attention. Great color choices and love the zigzag border with this.
