I wanted to make a non cutesy Christmas card so I borrowed this SU Christmas cardinal set from my Mom and colored him up last night. When I saw Pams card here I knew it was the one I wanted to case. I love when that happens! I kept the layout but left off the border punch. I really like her ribbon treatment but I didnt have enough room on my image so I used a buttony bow instead. I also used pearls instead of rhinestones brads and changed the placement. Congrats Pam and TFL!

Woo Hoo Shannon, your coloring is AMAZING my friend. Try though I may, I haven't made it to the level you have in coloring yet, but I haven't given up. Your cardinal looks so BRIGHT & VIBRANT!!! Maybe my cardinal was a male - LOL!!! Anyway, back to your card, your did a spectacular job with the sponging, coloring, and I LOVE your paper, ribbon and button treatment. And, you know I LOVE pearls, so your red pearls made my heart sing!! LOL!! THanks SO MUCH for playing today and sharing your magnifico talent with all of us!!!
