Good morning...You know that I haven't gone to bed since last night! I have been making rag purses and totes because they are addicting, especially now since I got the right scissors. I think the longest part about sewing quilt blocks together is trying to figure out the layout...anyways, I will upload what I was making later as it is in the drier right now. It is so cute, I think it is anyways.
Ok, on to the challenge. Since I was awake already and just completed my project, I decided to play in the color challenge and combine it into the technigue challenge as well using the stocking gift card holder. See it here:Forums at Splitcoaststampers. The colors today are Old Olive, Bermuda Bay (light teal), Pretty in Pink, and Neutrals of choice. This stocking I did this morning on no sleep, took me less than 20 minutes to do. One reason is because I had printed the template onto the pink c/s yesterday, made it much faster.I chose to try the toe and heel this time too. I added my own stitching lines with a black fine point pen because my eyes were getting tired from using the sewing machine. I wanted to use white letters for the name but I couldn't find any, so I chose these. I added a ribbon and the sentiment tag to complete from gift card. I will look forward to making these again because it was easy peasy! Not like my first one. Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
What do you think?
It wouldn't be a surprise if my SS pen pal saw this, would it?
I really feel bad too. It dawned on me this morning when I dropped my son off at the middle school that they were having the Honor Roll breakfast. My son Dallas said he understands, but I feel horrible. I should of just walked in there with my slippers, sweats, hair up, no make up, and half asleep and sat with him. I went to all of them last year, so I get credit there.
