Our first night time teaparty in Blackhawk, Colorado! We've been invited to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Blacken White for a big Halloween Teaparty! But we also have a mission: to help rescue Mrs. Blacken from her boring existence of a black and white house. She longs for splashes of color, but her husband will only allow it at Halloween when he lets her display two pumpkins outside their front door. If you want the full story, you can read on da Muddermark's glob here:
Meanwhile, Birdie (aka Bertie in costume) is to the rescue!! She's helping out the rest of the tea partiers to supply Mrs. Blacken with lots and lots of color!! Birdie is bringing bright orange silk pumpkin pillows for Mrs. Blacken's sofa. Oh, and you should know Birdie is carrying pea soup in that pumpkin bucket dangling from her beak.
Come one, come all and let's help Mrs. Blacken! We women must stand together!! Be sure to use keywords MMTPT65 when uploading your creation!
I would like to thank Joanne, aka Sleepyinseattle, for all the cool Halloween supplies so I could make this card!! Joanne sent the Doubledog Dare Challenge members these cute stamped images, the moon, the bats, the silk pumpkins, the ghost, the designer paper, etc. and challenged us to make a Halloween card. Thanks Cluelessinseattle....er...I mean Sleepyinseattle!!

Gotta love those silk pumpkin cushions - once Blacken gets used to the comfort of those, they'll get to stay till it's time to replace them with Christmas ones.
Pea soup - yum yum. I love it, but alas DH doesn't. Maybe if Birdie has enough to spare I can sneak it on the menu this week, though; after a tooth extraction yesterday DH is up for soft food and didn't even notice the lentils in the carrot soup last night. Love that little embossed tiled roof too. You've certainly brought plenty of colour to the Whites.

I love it! And I love pea soup too! Cept' not thrown please. My mother used to freeze all the ham bones from the holidays to make pea soup. When they started stacking up, we renamed the freezer "Hambone Heaven".
