Hi! This card was made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: Autumn Leaves.
Hmmm...I thought when I saw this challenge. How in the world can I make a Christmas Card using autumn leaves??? I thought and thought, and nothing came to me. When all else fails, I sit on the couch and stare out the bay window into my garden. AHA! dead leaves were swirled around the base of the arbor! That reminded me of my old house with holly planted under the windows. I HATED cleaning the neighbors' tree's dead leaves from under it. (During hurricane season, the neighborhood became a swirling vortex of leaves and they ALL ended up in my yard, the only one WITHOUT trees that shed leaves! LOL
The image was stamped in Palette Cognac and colored with Copics. It was cut out with and Nestie, leaving areas uncut. The leaves are also Spellbinders dies. I sopnged on color to create a mottled "fall" look.
Finished card size: 5 1/2" square.
Total time to complete 32 minutes.
