I love Asian influenced art. I always have. Even when I was VERY young, I collected Asian coins, created screens for my room and had bamboo mats EVERYWHERE! I think it was the RED in everything...I'm nuts about RED! (This also fits the Red Divas Challenge...)
The images and sentiment were embossed in gold and hand cut. The koi were colored with Copics. The big flowers are brass, and were sponged with Palette Hybrid inks. I had to heat set them, but I LOVE the effect! The small flowers are studs! The coin is an antique I've had for MANY years!
