Couldn't resist another card - I saved this Penguin Backpack earlier, and since I'm waiting for Stickles to dry on my last CCC09 card, it was a chance to make this.
A2 red base. White card embossed with D'vine Swirl for the background and Swiss Dots for the foreground. I tore the Swiss Dots piece, and added Frosted Lace Stickles along the edge.
I made the penguin using an oval Nestabilties for the body, cut once in black and once in white. I trimmed the black, and stuck it over the white. The wing is the large oval punch, paper sculpted to give it some depth, and then attached with foam. The head is a 1 1/4" circle, with a black Kaiser pearl for the eye. I painted a scrap red and used that to cut the beak and feet.
I think this also fits the SOS challenge from yesterday, Stickles, Ovals and Swiss Dots, Snow - or Simple
