Congratulations, Lori, on being this week's Featured Stamper! I am quite familiar with your beautiful work, and I had so much fun cruising through your gallery for a card to case. I settled on your Crop It Potluck Sketch seen here:
I was particulary drawn to this card because of the pretty designer paper you used not only for your background, but also for stamping your main flower images. I attempted many versions of making my own designer paper for my background, but nothing was jelling for me, so I used some older SU Christmas dp. I initially started out using alcohol and reinkers onto glossy cardstock for my background, and I ended up using that technique to stamp my poinsettias onto and cut them out, as well for my punched leaves with the other dp I made . The glitter in the center of the poinsettias is that pretty green Cosmo glitter SU sold at one point, but it looks goldish in my photo.
Things I changed:
1. stamps
2. colors
3. buttons instead of brads
Thanks for the inspiration, Lori, and for always being so encouraging in your comments on my cards! Enjoy this special day and week, m friend!!

Charlene, what a beautiful CASE of a beautiful card of Lori's. I looked and looked at that same card. I love your flowers. Each time I see them used, I want them. Just beautiful.
