Hi! This card was made for today's Limited Supply Challenge: Can't Help Lovin' Dat Man. Participants were to make MANLY cards that did not have flowers, bling, or ribbon-(twine was acceptable).
I went to visit my mother yesterday, and she asked that I make a series of cards for my father, for after mother passed away. I was quite shocked that she wanted me to make these, as she is an artist, and could very well paint for him. She said, "My dear, I want you to be part of this journey, so that you will remember, too." It seems she recently saw, "P.S. I Love You," and decided she wanted Dad to have "help" from her after she was gone.
She insisted upon an anniversary card that mentioned dreams. So, I chose this sentiment to go with the tree. (I think Dad said something about dreams when he proposed to her...not really clear about the details...)One finished...11 more to go.
The image was stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa and the colors are CHALKS that were sponged in and then WATERCOLORED in with an aqua painter!

Faith, I just about cried when I read your story, how wonderful of your mom to make sure your dad is taken care of when she is gone. Your card
is fabulous as always. Love the tree. Barb

What a remarkable think for your mother to do in her own time of need! Making the journey a little easier for those left behind God bless! And what a wonderful card you've designed - can't wait to see the rest in the series - your father will treasure them for sure!

What a loving thing for your mom to do; so glad she has you for a daughter. Will she sign each of these? OMG, tomorrow would have been our 29th anniversary and this story makes me so sad; yet so joyful that you and your mom are taking this journey together. Awesome story; awesome card, GF!
