Measurements: designer paper – 3 1/8” wide, 1/16” border, navy cross panel – 1 3/8”, 1/16” border, Image panel - 2 1/8” x 2 ¾”, 1/16” & 1/8” borders.
-The image is colored with Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps using the Gamsol technique found in the resources section here at SCS. The oil replaces the Gamsol.
-Masking of the image and lower border after embossing was done to add the flowers.
-I used the Stampin Up corner punch and some scrap to form the outside light blue border of the image panel.
-Cuttlebug was used on the navy cross panel.
-The out of the box image is done using a technique similar (I omitted a step or two) to JulieÂ’s which you can find here and IÂ’ll explain for those that donÂ’t wish to leave SCS for directions: I lie the Nestabilities die cut on the image panel and position it. With a pencil I mark the inside edge of the die cut on each side of the tail and remove the die cut. I cut slightly further than my pencil mark. Slide my die cut under the portion that will be out of the box and secure with repositional tape (I use the blue painters tape). Run through the machine to cut then emboss and remove the die cut and itÂ’s ready to color. I color after cutting just in case I make a mistake.

Using the photo corners for the extra layer is brilliant. I thought you had added two diamond shapes under the image until I read your explanation. I really appreciate all the time you take to share the "how" of your fabulous creations Roxie. Your card is beautiful, as always.
