I am back from Ohio. Even though it was a sad occasion, it was great to see all my relatives from my dad's side of the family. My grandmother's funeral was beautiful and we all got to take a rose home from her flowers. I plan on hanging it upside to dry in a couple of days and once dry, placing it in a case with her card.
The card I made is for 7 different challenges. I am trying to catch up on what I missed while I was gone. Many of my challenge came via The Daily Dare
First, this is for today's Ways to Use it Challenge 226 Christmas in July where we were to make a holiday card.
Second, this is for yesterday's 365 cards Day 130 where we were to create something humorous. I thought a snowman trying to stay toasty was quite humorous.
Third, this is for yesterday's ABC Challenge V for Vellum where we were to use vellum on our cards. My bg paper is vellum with snowflakes on it.
Fourth, this is for yesterday's Belli Challenge where we were to use texture. I used my Cuttlebug with the Snowflake folder on my glitter paper and I used stickles on all of the brads and the snowflakes on the cup.
Fifth, this is for yesterday's Sissy Scraps Challenge where we were to make a Christmas in July Card for Heroes card.
My image is a digital image from Dustin Pike that will be released sometime today. It is colored with Prismacolor Pencils and OMS. The sentiment is computer generated.
