Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combo Challenge: WHITE. Participants were to make a ONE LAYER card with WHITE CARD STOCK ONLY. I made a one layer cards last week, and I swear, I heard a THUMP when Speedy the Cat hit the floor after fainting...LOL!
I cut out a MASK from the Top Note and used non-sticky tape to adhere it to the card front. To color in the scene, I used a Copic Airbrush System. The sun was made by punching a 1" hole from a scrap piece of paper and using the SCRAP as a mask. I used Copic : YR15, YR18. The background was made Top to bottom with Copic: BG11, BG32, BG45 and E15.
The silhouettes and sentiment were stamped in Basic Black. Next, I punched out the butterflies and used the scrap for a MASK! YES!!! Those butterflies are SPONGED ON! I added highlights with a Signo Pen.

First of all, I have to tell you, I look forward to seeing what Speedy the Cat has to say. I love the way you make your gallery so much fun.
You gave this card a one in difficulty? With the air brushing, coloring, masking and sponging, this deserves at least a two!
This is a wonderful card. I loveit.

I know this isn't your usual style, but to be able to create such a beautiful card with just one layer shows what an artist you truly are. Very nicely done!
