I altered this little "bandaid" tin to hold what coin collectors call "Wheaties" - pennies with wheat backs on them, rather than the Lincoln Memorial. My dad is an avid coin collector and I still come across Wheaties just about every week. So I made this tin for his pennies.
Stamps are by Our Daily Bread designs from God Bless America and In God We Trust.
I stamped my twill from May Arts Ribbon with the sentiment. The designer paper is Patriotic Stars by Masterpiece, available at ODBD.

This is wonderful, Judy! It brings back such great memories for me. I had an uncle who was a coin collector and he got me interested when I was little. Still have my wheaties and some steelies (from WW2, they used steel for the pennies. Even he was too young for WW2 but he sure had collected a bunch of these) he gave me.
