Measurements: the card is a 4 1/2” square, Image panel with border 1 ¼ x 3 5/8” – scallops are ¼” wide, lace and stripe together are 1 ¼”
I tried a number of options where the ovals are and nothing seemed to work so I made myself happy with the Stampin Up ovals!
-Image is colored with Prismacolor pencils, baby oil and paper stumps for blending; same technique as Gamsol, just substituting baby oil for Gamsol.
-I masked off the lower edge of the image panel with sticky notes to ink distress and sponge on the sky.
-The two end mushrooms are cut out, edged with a black marker and glued to the card.
-All edges but the black on the card front are ink distressed, also the left side on the inside and the edges of the envelope front.
-Diamond Glaze was used to attach the Gems from Hero Arts.
-Art Glitter adhesive is used to apply the Stampin Up Dazzling Diamonds on the mushrooms.
-The image panel and ovals are mounted on foam tape.
-For the envelope: it measures 4 5/8 x 6 ¾”, I cut a piece of cardstock 1/16” smaller both ways. Placed the 4 ½” card on the cardstock and ran a strip of glue about 3/8” away from the card on each side and inserted it in the envelope so. This will prevent the card from moving around and keeps the envelope sturdy through the mail system and it won’t cost any extra postage because it isn’t square!
