For today's sketch challenge. Yeah, yeah, yet ANOTHER pirate card. I just have tons of pirate stuff, because - well, I just love the pirate thing : p
I know you ladies know that when making a card you have to think a couple panels ahead. What do you need to hide UNDER that panel before you actually glue it down? Ummm, like string perhaps? I was NOT thinking head this morning and of course glued that panel down BEFORE doing the string, so I had to carefully pull it all back up again. Anyway, I managed not to destroy the card, but still gave myself a headache. All because I don't think. I YI YI.
I added that big gold brad for my circle/shape - some gold pearls in the corner. Distressed edges, string...I think that was about it. Thanks for looking!

can I tell you, Michelle, my DH is a puzzle pirate and he is wild about that RPG! He has the most fun sitting in our family room while I create and he's sailing and pillaging and I hear 'arrrrr'. Your card is delightful, love the papers and the rope. Great use of the sketch!!!

It turned out awesome. I love the big brad and the twine is perfect! Your coloring is really well done too. Great card!
