The images on this card were hand drawn. My mother drew these images back in 1982 and recently gave me a large box that had several of her old drawings in them. What a treasure! I spoke with her and she advised she was inspired by several artists that painted on china. She took classes for a couple of years and was very good at it. She began drawing her own drawings based on the work of the artists that inspired her. The sentiment is from Verve's Beautiful You stamp set.
I uploaded this card two days ago and while browsing through the Fan Club gallery, I realized this card fit within the central theme as I recycled Mom's drawings from 27 years ago.
WOW! I can't believe the steps you took to create this absolutely STUNNING card! How extra special that you were able to transfer actual drawings of your mother's to this cardstock for HER mother's day card!
We are so comfortable and reliant on stamped images and some digi images nowadays, that we tend to forget true artistic ability. I'm so impressed with all of your effort on this card from the embossing, to the cut out work, to the tracing and transferring of your mother's artwork...it's simply beautiful. I'm sure your mother will be elated to receive this beauty!
