I'm glad I at least had a chance to do one of these. Hopefully, I have a chance to do another. This is for the Let's Play BlackJack challenge.
Here's my point score:
6 pts for # of layers (I'm not counting the white card)
3 pts for 1 dp layer (the wrapping paper)
10 pts for use of 2 stamps (the Jack of Diamonds and the card suits (1 stamp))
0 pts for ribbon
2 pts for hard embellies (2 brads)
Total: 21 pts!
Now for the deets, The center image and the cards (except for the Jack of Diamonds) are clip art I printed out on white c/s. I added a little red pencil to the main image and cut it out w/ a nestie. Black nestie layer behind it. I stamped the card suits in a frame and cut it out and attached to a red layer, then a black layer. (4 layers so far, frame isn't really a layer).
Attached the cards around and behind the frame and attached to the wrapping paper layer then a black layer (all 6 layers now). Added a couple of brads. The red one was white, but I colored it w/ a sharpie. The numbers were die cut and attached.
Thanks so much for looking!
