Well, after I kept looking at my flower pot yesterday, I decided to make it look fuller. I added more flowers and leaves to the insert. I also added more embellishments along with stickles for the centers of the flowers. I added a piece of pumpkin pie c/s to the back of the insert which was the dp. Since doing that, when inserted into the flower pot, it wasn't standing anymore with the other way like I had it. Darn! I had to make it more sturdy. I took off the old piece of c/s off the back of the pot and made another piece like a template as if you were making card that actually opens. I cut it to the shape of the flower pot. Adhered. I cut a 1x4 and scored 2 lines in it. Folded and placed inside using tacky strip to the opening in the back of the pot. It now stands sturdy with the flower insert too. I added butterflies and the white gel pen to the flower pot. I hope you like this version too. Thanks for looking!

I had to think of something more sturdy because of the class that I will be teaching. Does it look ok to you? It also folds flat for mailing.

That's a really interesting take on the original design. I actually sealed around the edges and bottom of mine to create a pocket into which the card fit into. This is really a creative idea.

Your pot and flowers are gorgeous! Think anyone taking this class would be well pleased. Good idea on making it sturdier. The full flowers are stunning but do they get made pretty quick? (thinking about your class time) Good luck on it! Know it will be a hit. TFS!
