OMG! What a busy week for me. Thank you ladies for all your concerns with my son. It turned out they put on a cast yesterday on his right arm and told him not to get it wet. Otherwise we'll be back up to the base everyday. Not happening because its a 40 minute drive. He's doing fine, just a small fracture.
I thought I would easy on my card today, since I am working on the school carnival things for tonight. For todays Limited Supplies challenge is called Easy as 1, 2, 3. Meaning one c/s, 2 dp, and 3 embellishments. At least that's how I read it.
I started out by using my decorative scissors around the green dp by DCVW. I stamped the little grass images from Roughing onto the green dp as if the bee was sitting on the grass. I used my paper tearing ruler for the gingham dp. I stamped the bee onto whisper white c/s with black stazon. I then used my prismacolor pencils, mineral spirits, and blending stumps for the coloring. I started to mount it to black c/s but didn't look right so I trimmed the image close just barely showing. I picked the ribbon up at HL when they were having a huge clearance on a few years ago and thought it would work great with this. The gingham dp is held on with pop dot squares. I attached some felt flowers with rhinestones in the corner. I used diamond glaze for the watermelon, liquid applique for the salt, and stickles for the twinkling from the bees antlers. Does this card look ok for having no ants on the card? Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day!. Thanks for viewing and comments are always appreciated.
What do you think?
The smudge mark on the white c/s is from the dumb camera...I really need to get that fix too.

Very cute papers and colors. I like that table cloth look. I never quite understood the putting salt on watermelon thing, but it looks cute in the bees hand, and esp. the way you have a little coming out.

This is just too fun with that sweet image and that zig zagged stitched tag! Wonderfully fun and bright. So glad to hear about your son; it's not easy though having a son in a cast!
