Ok, this isn't what I planned on making with this technique. Believe me I tried all sorts of things because my mind just wanders with ideas.
Here is my story:
I made this card for the New Technique challenge. We were to use rubber bands and embossing powder. I wrapped rubber bands on a piece of wood several times making sure they were flat and used the versamark ink onto white c/s. Heat set with gold powder. I sponged several inks onto the embossed c/s. I traced the egg pattern from a quilt book and made a template. Traced the template onto the back of the gold c/s. I used the kraft knife to cut it out to make the hole. Then I used the CB textile folder on the gold c/s. I trimmed the embossed c/s to make it fit underneath the gold. I took a piece of acetate tubing that my kids had for their kites and cut it to fit the card. I used tacky tape to secure in place. I added ribbon for the finished look. I decided to put the plastic on because it just didn't look right without it. I stopped here because I didn't know if it needed something else, so I left it like this. Thanks for the challenge. Have a wonderful day.
What do you think? Does it need anything else?
The acetate is hard to see in the picture, but IRL it appears shiny.
