A truly funny and close to the heart challenge this week. Soelah, my big sister has been gone for a little over 3 years now from her battle with breast cancer, as you might already know and when I saw "Haute Couture"
I knew I just had to use my new stamp set(almost a steal from Ina (yellowrose46). Reminded me of my sisters and I, The pink dress in the middle with the ribbon is for Soelah of course, and Betty and I symbolise the other ones, of course I'm the blue one!
Thank you Stephanie for introducing this whimsical artist paired with an social conscience. Ann and Pam also, you go girls! Good show!
Forgot to mention the pattern on the dresses and the card were handmade by me, it is actually very therapeutic for me to "doodle" around. Hope you like it.
Thank you all for looking and enjoy.

Giggles, your card is so beautiful, and the story behind it, even more so! I love that it represents Soelah, her struggle and the rememberance of your relationship. You have a beautiful heart sister...

Ahh Peggy!! You are such a wonderful sister - to Soelah and to Betty too! Soelah was taken from you far too early! I'm so glad you created this lovely card - and I know that as Soelah battled breast cancer - you walked beside with all of that glorious love that you have in your heart - and that she is now looking down from heaven with great love and appreciation. But we really never stop missing our loved ones, do we ?
